Arjen Brûsk is a dancer, musician, composer, instructor, choreographer, researcher, independent artist.
He graduated from Istanbul Technical University Conservatory Traditional Dance Department. He worked on ballet, contemporary dance, traditional dance and music of east european, anatolian and middle eastern, flamenco, tap dance, hip-hop, break dance, street jazz dance, body music / body percussion, Kurdish music and dance. He worked dance, rhythm, music staging in the fields of academic and artistic performances. As a result of these studies, he created his own dance, music, production, study and staging approach. He created choreographies for various art groups, made body-voice works, composed and prepared music, collaborated and produced them.
He worked as a dancer, performer, dance instructor, choreographer, musician, composer with;

He won XVIII.Direklerarası Theater Audience Awards “Original Theater Music Award” with the music prepared by him for Destar Theatre – Şermola Performance Theater Group’s Serencama Qijikan / Kargalar play. In that play, he taught Govend – Kurdish dance and music with body and vocal workshop, prepared choreographies and musics and performed them in the play with the players.
He has worked Kurdish dubbing in Layen Production and Artist Film Production. He continues to collaborate with various art communities, makes various dance, music, rhythm and body studies, performs various dance and music performances. He teach Kurdish dances Govend and dahol (hand drum) lessons within an education programme called Govendistanbul created by him. He continue to work independently.

Govend is Kurdish traditional dancing and singing culture. It is the general name of Kurdish Dances. Arjen Brûsk is teaching Kurdish dance Govend in detail with a special, basic and rich repertoire created by him from all part of Kurdish Area. Courses start at the beginner level. At the end of the training season, the participants have gained a basic technical and characteristic familiarity with the Kurdish dances, reaching a level where they can dance and reach out to all the Kurdish dances they can encounter and reach a dance technique that can do solo.
In the course; the Kurdish dances rooted in a large part of the Mesopotamia, Anatolian and Middle East geography; In addition to the studies carried out by special arrangement based on the “living in the public”, basic repertoire education, characteristic examination-technical analysis studies and solo studies in Kurdish dances are also included.
